Exhibit design for NeoCon 2014
10′ x 10′
While working at marquardt+, I was tasked with concept development and project management for a new client’s first exhibition at NeoCon in Chicago, IL. Cartasan creates artwork from folded and ripped paper, so we created custom display stands that not only allowed for the display of the artwork, but of the raw medium.
We sourced several hundred magazines, bored a 3″ diameter hole in the center of each, and allowed the client to assist in the way they were displayed on the steel display stands.
The image used on the back wall and storage tower was one of the artwork pieces, and each side wall was lined with larger format prints.
